If you have been searching for men’s boxing classes in Huntington Beach and keep finding cardio-boxing workouts instead of real instruction, Coach Al Franco Boxing is launching a new option.
A new morning men’s boxing program is now available Monday through Thursday at A1 Boxing Club in Huntington Beach. The program is designed for adults who want to learn proper boxing fundamentals through structured coaching, technical correction, and controlled progression.
Although the program is promoted as Men’s Boxing Classes, women ages 18 and older who want real boxing instruction are also welcome.

Finally, Boxing Training Without the Gimmicks
Most "boxing" classes marketed to adults today are fitness routines wearing boxing gloves. They're loud, crowded, and choreographed — but they won't teach you how to actually fight, defend yourself, or move like a boxer.
This program is different.
Coach Al Franco has spent almost three decades developing real fighters — from total beginners to national, international, and world amateur champions, plus professional title winners. He founded Warzone Boxing Club back in 1997, and now he's bringing that same level of coaching to everyday men in Orange County who simply want to train seriously.
No sparring is required. No experience is required. Just a willingness to learn.
What You'll Actually Learn
My Men's Boxing Classes in Huntington Beach is a new program focuses on the skills that separate real boxers from people who just throw punches at a bag:
Footwork — linear and lateral movement that actually holds up under pressure
Range control and positioning — knowing where you are in relation to an opponent at all times
Defense — head movement, guard, and how to avoid getting hit
Punching mechanics — technique that generates real power without wasted motion
Timing — the difference between throwing punches and landing them
Conditioning — built through boxing work, not treadmills and burpees
Controlled partner drills — with optional sparring only for approved students who are ready
Conditioning, coordination, composure, and confidence may improve through consistent training, but those benefits are byproducts of learning and practicing boxing correctly.

Why Spots Are Limited
This isn't a big-box gym class where the coach yells combinations at 40 people and hopes for the best. Small class sizes mean Coach Al can actually watch your footwork, correct your form, and build a training plan around your ability and goals — whether that's fitness, confidence, self-defense, or eventually competing.
Enrollment is capped at 10 participants per class so Coach Al can provide meaningful technical correction. Availability is limited, and enrollment is subject to consultation.
